In short: Every word list below is drawn from WordSalvo’s own go-live dictionary — the same word source the game uses to judge your plays. Use them to learn the openers and hooks that win close games: two-letter words to connect plays, high-value letters like Q, X and Z, and the highest-scoring words on the board.

Where these lists come from

Each list is generated directly from WordSalvo’s go-live dictionary, so a word that appears here is a word you can actually play. There is no separate "web list" that drifts out of sync with the game — the lists and the app read from the same source.

Start with the two-letter words: they are the connective tissue of every board, letting you hook onto existing tiles and open new lines. From there, the high-value letter lists (Q without U, Z, X, J) turn awkward racks into big turns.

Frequently asked questions

Are these word lists the same as the words in the game?
Yes. Every list is built from WordSalvo’s go-live dictionary, the same word source the game uses to validate plays, so the lists match what the app accepts.
Do the lists depend on the language I play in?
They do. WordSalvo has a separate native dictionary per supported language, and the lists are generated per language, so the counts and entries reflect the language you are viewing.
