How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your WordSalvo account directly from the app:

1. Open WordSalvo and go to Settings (tap the gear icon).

2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.

3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account will be deleted immediately.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

Your profile — display name, avatar, friend code, and all account information.

Your game history — all past games, scores, and statistics.

Your ratings and rankings — Glicko-2 rating, tournament standings, and ranking entries where available.

Your social data — friend list, chat messages, and rival records.

Your Word Book — all saved words and definitions.

Your achievements — all achievement progress.

Your settings — theme preferences, notification settings, and language choices.

What Is Retained

Completed games that involved other players are retained in anonymised form so that opponents can still view their own game history. Your name and profile are removed from these records.

Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics data (crash reports, usage trends) may be retained for service improvement.

If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 days.
